Why do robots have lights? What does it take to turn them on and off?
The purpose of this lesson is to learn how to create a program in the Program Maker, how to operate the LED lights on the Scribbler, and to learn more about power and how light bulbs work.
Objectives/Outcomes:
By the time you complete this activity you should be able to:
1. Create a program in the Program Maker software
2. Upload and run a program on the Scribbler robot
3. Program the 3 LED lights to turn on and off on the Scribbler robot
4. Edit LED lights in the Program Maker software
5. Explain the difference between incandescent light bulbs and LED light bulbs
6. Explain the difference between DC power and AC power
7. Install batteries properly and understand why batteries are installed in a certain manner
